Sagastad Viking Jewelry are unique pieces inspired by local Viking discoveries.
Nordfjordeid’s own jewelry designer, Kathrine Berg from BergArt, has, on behalf of Sagastad, delved into the details of the Myklebust findings to find inspiration for the new jewelry collection. The Myklebust discoveries are rich Viking Age boat graves, which have contained large ships, unique stories, and remarkable craftsmanship on a wide variety of precious objects.

Norwegian design and production
Inspired by the Myklebust graves from the 9th and 10th centuries, the designs were created in Nordfjordeid by goldsmith Kathrine Berg. The jewelry is produced in genuine silver by Sylvsmidja in Voss. In other words, authentic local craftsmanship, made to delight both locals and visitors to the village. As of now, the products are sold exclusively at Sagastad Viking Center and at BergArt in Nordfjordeid.
