\u00a0The ticket includes a seat on the ship for a voyage that lasts approximately 2.5 hours. You also gain access to the event area inside and outside of Sagastad, and the required rowing training with smaller vessels prior to the actual voyage. Please make sure you are on site in time for your safety instructions and rowing training that is required to be complete before boarding the Myklebust. Note that this may be the day prior to your journey on the Myklebust.<\/p>

The Ship will be launched april 23rd, and will be ready to be rowed on the fjord from Friday April 25th. Wednesday April 30th, the ship will return to its regular space in Sagastad.<\/p>

Requirements for all participants<\/h2>

You must be an adult (18+) and of average health. You must be physically capable of performing essential duties, including rowing, and must be able to navigate the ship safely without the need for special accommodations.\u00a0<\/p>

You must have a proficient level of English to effectively communicate and understand safety instructions.<\/p>

By Norwegian law you will be required to complete a 1 hour security course. This course will be held prior<\/strong> to departure. During the course you will be instructed on the security routines onboard the Myklebust ship.\u00a0<\/p>

The course will be held every day during the launch period. If your yourney starts early in the day, beware that you must take the course on the day prior. You will also need to complete a rowing course with a smaller vessel on site following your safety course. This is all included in the ticket. The course times are; Thursday 24.4 at 12:00, Friday 25.4 at 12:00, Saturday 26.4 at 09:00 and 12:00, Sunday 27.4 at 12:00, Monday 28.4 at 12:00 and Tuesday 29.4 at 09:00.<\/p>

As a guest rower you will be provided with a member of the crew, whom will be responsible for you throughout the voyage. If you feel fatigued or need a break this crew member will man your spot.\u00a0<\/p>

Clothing:<\/strong>\u00a0Everyone onboard must be dressed as Vikings. We have clothing on site that you may use free of charge. You are however also welcome to bring your own clothing. Please bring a natural coloured set of trousers \/ pants. Weather can not be predicted, so make sure you have a warm undergarment on hand if needed.<\/p>

Accessories:<\/strong>\u00a0The use of sunglasses, watches or jewellery of modern design is forbidden. Mobile phones will be permitted during certain points of the voyage. You will get plenty of opportunities to film \/ take pictures during these periods.<\/p>

By participating you consent to being filmed \/ photographed during the voyage. All participants are insured during the voyage. We still strongly recommend that you have travel insurance in place before traveling to Norway.<\/p>

Friday<\/strong> April 25th – 20:00 – Opening ceremony at 19.00 (Safety course and training at 12:00 same day)<\/p>

Saturday<\/strong> April 26th – 10:00 (Safety course and training friday at 12:00)
13:00 – (Safety training friday at 12:00 or saturday at 09:00)
19:30\u200b – 20 (Safety course and training 09:00 or 12:00 same day)<\/p>

Sunday<\/strong> April 27th – 10:00 – 10 seats (safety course and training on Saturday at 12:00)
16:00 – 20 seats (safety course and training on Sunday at 12:00)<\/p>

\u200bMonday<\/strong> April 28th – 11:00\u200b – (safety course and training on Sunday at 12:00)<\/p>

Tuesday<\/strong> April 29th – 13:00 – (Safety course and training at 9:00 same day)<\/p>

You will not be allowed on board without completing the safety and rowing training. Make sure to let us know which training session you will be attending. The training will take approximately 2 hours depending on your rowing skills. You can choose any training session on any day prior to your voyage, as long as it is completed in due time prior to your voyage.<\/p>

*Due to weather or other variables these times may change if needed to ensure the safety on board. You should thus plan to stay in Nordfjordeid for the entire day when your voyage is scheduled.<\/p>
