Excavation of the Myklebust ship by Anders Lorange.

The Gokstad ship was discovered.

Excavation of the “Skjoratippen” mound by Håkon Shetelig.

Discovery of the Oseberg ship.

The beginning of the Sagastad project.

2008

The Sagastad project was resumed.

2013

Interim agreement with the craftsmen from Bjørkedalen for the construction of the ship. First plans/sketches of the center and plot.

2014

The Sagastad Foundation was established.

First work on the plot.
